“Three years ago there was a local chemical fire and it was pretty much NEXT to our swim centre. We had to do a quick evacuation and pray that the wind blew a different way.

PHEW! Our Swim centre was saved, but as soon as it was happening I was on the phone to our insurance company BGi.

They have managed to sort a few tricky situations for us, here are just a few in the 20 years we have been insured with them.

1. Liability claim: When someone slips and you have to go to court (we won), we were not liable. BGi held our hand all the way through.

2. Covid times: Yes they were the only one to pay out. Yay!!

3. Pool plant break downs: We had one recently and lost a week of trade- it’s handy having 18 hour business disruption kick in.
