Office Administrator

Full-time, Monday to Friday – 8.45am – 5.15pm – Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

In this role you will provide general admin assistance to the Leadership Team. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a genuine interest in the following areas of a business:

  • IT
  • Finance/Accounts
  • Compliance/Regulatory

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with clerical tasks such as emails, post, filing, photocopying, scanning etc.
  • Arranging staff events/travel/accommodation.
  • Monitoring and ordering of supplies.
  • General administrative duties to support the business.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Educated to A level standard, with GCSEs at C or above in Maths and English.
  • Computer literate with experience of MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Autonomous and have excellent time management skills.

Senior Commercial Broker

Salary up to £60,000 a year, full-time, Monday to Friday – Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

Summary

This is a senior level role within a progressive team. With the role comes:

  • An existing book of business
  • An opportunity to develop your own portfolio – of standard & non-standard Commercial Accounts, Risks and Schemes

You will have:

– Worked on Commercial Insurance risks in a position of responsibility
– A proven track record
– The ability to coach, train and generally provide information to the supporting team members
– Excellent technical insurance knowledge
– The self-confidence to effectively deal with clients’ boards and board members

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Looking after existing book of commercial clients, from SMEs to larger corporate clients
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships by providing excellent customer service
  • Further developing the current book, by:
    a. cross selling techniques and business development
    b. the development of existing insurer facilities in the UK and EEA
    c. developing the existing scheme and target markets
  • Operating within regulatory guidelines
  • Supporting other team members as appropriate/necessary to ensure a first-class service to all of our clients

Required

  • 7+ years’ experience in General Commercial Insurance
  • 3+ years’ experience in generating and placing new business
  • Experience of Broking within the EEA would be an advantage as would a knowledge of arranging insurance for companies trading internationally
  • Driving license

Commercial Broker

Competitive salary depending on experience – Faringdon, Oxfordshire

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker within easy travelling distance of SN7 7HU to join the team. You will service a portfolio of business’ including new accounts, renewals, adjustments, queries and any other issues that may arise on the accounts. In addition to this, you will be actively involved in the broking of new business to market – liaising with insurers and negotiating the best possible terms.
