The Center for Reiki Training was started in 1991 and in 1997 and added International to our name because of the classes being taught in foreign countries and because so many students were traveling from foreign countries to the US to take classes from us.  The ICRT is the largest Reiki association in the world.

The ICRT Reiki Membership Association was created in 2010 based on William Lee Rand’s twenty-plus years of experience as a full-time Reiki practitioner and teacher. Its purpose is to maintain a professional image for its members while at the same time preserving the spirit of Reiki and assisting members in creating a thriving Reiki practice.

We are a professional Reiki association with a code of ethics and professional standards of practice. Our purpose is to provide professional recognition for members. At the same time, we make it possible for those seeking Reiki sessions and classes to find qualified practitioners and teachers.
