Teachers Liability (TORT) Insurance

If you are a member of Tort you can take advantage of our special discounted rates.

TORT is operated as a Membership facility that accepts most full time and part time teachers, trainers and coaches. The principal benefit of membership is currently the insurance cover provided but this will be enhanced as the membership increases.

The Insurance provided is underwritten at Lloyd’s and covers your legal liability for claims made against you by third parties in connection with your business as a teacher following accident, injury or loss up to a limit of £5,000,000. (We are currently unable to accept those involved in contact sports such as Rugby, Boxing, and Kung Fu).

The Insurance is suitable for those resident in the UK.
